Guitar Class

I've been taking a guitar class for the past several weeks. Nothing can quite describe the thourough frustration I feel at my total lack of ability in this area. Have I no talent in any instrument? I wish I could play music, but right now I feel like throwing my guitar out the window for all the good it's done me. I feel sorta bad for my Dad. After all, he bought my guitar in the hope that I'd learn & someday be able to play him a song. It's safe to say that he'll never hear a song out of me, he wasted his money.
